He has also worked as a freelance photographer for his neighborhood newspaper.

9 New Products from the R|D|J Show Floor

We were recently featured on the Hanley Wood website as one of the new products at the 2014 Remodling Show in Baltimore Maryland. As the article leads, "The creator of this clever work belt, Chris Landano, serves as a New York City firefighter and forensic photographer. When his photography belt got him caught in a tight, dangerous spot in the midst of a building collapse, a light bulb went on. He developed a belt that rotates, allowing the wearer to narrow the bulky profile of a work belt by rotating tools and pouches out of the way.".

Queens, NY - October 26, 2014 – TrakBelt360™ has just launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund the production of the first belt that lets you rotate tools and gear around your waist 360 degrees. An idea born from a firefighter and forensic photographer’s personal near death experience, this product is perfect for trade professionals and photographers.
